Research On The Current Situation And Development Of Music During The Colonized Northeast China

Based on the history of northeast occupied by Japan, the paper discusses the music of that period. It is represented by the content of the group music activities, including: the development of music during the time of being occupied; the influnce of national music in Puppet period; the significance of social music and the influence of the fall of the northeast on northeastern national music and northeastern educational music.The music during this period includes the enslaved music with the thought of subjugation, the national music which is struggling to survive, the anti-Japanese music expressing the patriotic emotion, and some for self-paralysis, to escape the reality of war. All these kinds of music showed the variety of the Northeast region during this special period. Therefore, according to the differences of social attribute around this occupied period, the author collect, sort and compare these features in the aspect of historiography of music and the ethnomusicology. The purpose of the artical is to find the intersection between music cultures and thus to study the diversity of music and the shock and fusion of western music during the lagging of national music. By researching on philosophy, history, sociology, education, psychology,and music phenomena during this period, the author analyses the musical nature from various aspects. Finally the author can get a deep and full understanding that how music worked as the means for Japanese to enslave the Chinese people thought and the way for Chinese people to fight against Japan during that prtiod which is hard and mortifying for Chinese. The influence and the significance of music can also be explained in this article.
