The Poetry Of Su Huang And Zen Koan

Zen developed to the Song Dynasty, showing new features, from the "not establishing writings" turning to the "not separated from the text". As a large number of Deng LU and quotations were compiled, the literal Zen became more and more popular. With the rise of literal Zen, Zen Koan had became the object of enlightenment, Koan's influence became even wider. "Su Huang" who were affected deeply by Buddhism and Zen had a great relationship with Zen Koan, they were contacted with a lot of Zen Koan by reading the "Jing ChanDeng record", " the platform sutra" and exchanging with Zen monks. Sometimes, "Su Huang" themselves were the chief actor of Koan, so they were quite familiar with the thinking patterns and ideas of Zen Koan. The Zen Koan is also the main carrier of Zen's thoughts, itself contains an abundance of Buddhist thoughts. From this point of view of Zen Koan, the poetry of "Su Huang" main accepted the thoughts of self-mind filled of Buddha nature, a purified and pollution-free mind; clearing the heart and letting the heart to return home; normal heart, having straightly heart to do anything; seeing everything filled with Buddha-nature, doing anything freely and be not out of Dao. These ideas had a great impact on the philosophy of "Su Huang", It was the important spiritual pillar of "Su Huang" in their demotion years. "Su Huang" also used Zen Koan's theory to build their own mental theoretical systems. Zen Koan itself has some characteristics which also has great influence on the art of poetry. The poetry of "Su Huang " which own the features of ideologies to reconcile with nature, novelty playing with the nature, the holing through of vulgar and elegance, the mixture of seriousness and shenanigans are closely related to Koan. Starting from the perspective of Zen Koan, This thesis is to do some contribution to the study of the poetry of "Su Huang", by studying the relationship between poetry of "Su Huang" and Zen Koan.
