On Sun Liaohong And His Anti-Detective Novels

This paper takes the modern Chinese detective novelist, Sun Liaohong, and his anti-detective novels as the main subject. Based on the analysis of his anti-detective novels, it relates and analyzes the efforts that he made for the localization of Chinese detective novels as well as the modern breath which appears in his novels, and it also highlights the uniqueness of his anti-detective novels. From this, it initiates the creation of Chinese detective novels into thought.This paper mainly consists of four parts:The first part of the paper mainly expounds detective novel--this type of literature's birth and the situation when it entered China. Modern judicial system consummation, the. city's formation and science, a testament to the winds of the prevailing factors have contributed to the birth of detective novels. When the western detective novels were translated and introduced to Chinese readers, it formed a detective novel hot. The introduction of western detective novels directly promoted the development of Chinese local detective novels.The second part mainly introduces Sun Liaohong's mystery and his creation of detective novels. It is related to his unique character and his enigmatic life. His creation of detective novels is obviously divided into two periods. Prophase, the trace of imitation was obvious, while later he made innovations, and formed his own characteristics.The third part is the core part of this paper. This part mainly starts with two aspects--Chinese local color and the modern breath. It is based on the analysis of the particular piece of his, to explore the uniqueness of his anti-detective fictions. He mixed the local Chinese traditional social and cultural values and traditional literati's social responsibility in the novels, to create the shapes of secular characters, in which way to make the foreign goods have Chinese local blood. Meanwhile, he also tried to use film expression, psychological analysis and consciousness in the novels. And in the structure, he also broke traditional constraints, made the entire layout more flexible, so his novels are full of modern and fresh feeling.The fourth part mainly deals with the creation reflection of Chinese modern detective novels. It mainly about the special background of Chinese modern detective novels, and the reasons that why Chinese detective novels haven't developed, and thus explains the enlightenments that can be learned from the developing of the Chinese modern detective novels.
