During the liberation war, the Communist Party of China and the Communist Party of the Soviet Union maintained a close relationship between the parties. In the summer of 1949, when the situation of the war was becoming more and more inclined to the Communist Party and the construction of the new regime was extremely urgent, for the sake of unifying the thought of the party and the national community Mao Zedong opportunistically put forward the one-sided policy of New China with the people's democratic dictatorship theory. After the founding of New China, Mao Zedong visited the Soviet Union for the first time. In the negotiating process with Soviet Union leaders, in view of the proposal of outwardly maintaining the Treaty of friendship and Alliance between China and Soviet Union in 1945 while actually modifying by Stalin, Mao Zedong adhered to abolish the old Treaty to conclude a new Treaty. Mao Zedong proposed the strategy of going ahead under the increasingly unfavorable situation of the Korean battlefield. The diplomatic initiation of China brought about a change of policy of Soviet Union. After that the leaders of the two countries coordinated and worked together to promote the great victory of a series of battles. When the war stepped into the stage of Negotiating while fighting, Mao Zedong combined with Stalin with flexible diplomacy art and convinced Kimâ…¡Sung to agree not be hasty to end the war under the unfavorable conditions. After Stalin's death, the new Soviet leaders changed the foreign policy, Mao Zedong sized up the situation and accepted the recommendations and arrangements about Korean Armistice which put forward by Soviet, strived for the most favorable circumstances and ended the Korean war...
