Research Of The Method Of Chinese Character's Scripi Design

Chinese character is one of the oldest characters in the history. It is a brilliant historical success for modern times and it is the essence of Chinese culture.As a cultural phenomenon, Chinese character has experienced the form evolution from pictographic to abstract and from complex to simple, at the same time has recorded the conversion process of Chinese character's art form. Numerous character forms of Chinese character is the concentration of Chinese ancestors.The gorgeous written forms is the inspiration origin of script design.This thesis puts emphasis on the use of Chinese character, which is one of the Chinese traditional cultural art elements,in modern script design and explores Chinese traditional culture and art,national view of culture, national design thought, the relation between national aesthetic consiousness and modern script design, furthermore concrete design methods by analyzing typical cases.This thesis sums up three design methods of the script design of Chinese character from the empirical studies about the inheritance of traditional written methods,the thought and inspiration brought by traditional culture,conversion and immersion of Chinese character design in the process of Chinese character's script design, at the same time proposes that creativity should be encouraged in modern design works and combine the tradition with modern elements.When you design the script,you should study the character style since 3000 years,and assimilate how previous people organize the gesture and structure of script,make the past serve the present to make the design have more national features and oriental charm. Especially in the concrete activities,you should inherit the shape beauty, modeling beauty, structure beaty and strength beauty in character shape which are showed in traditional culture. You should also study the change of script,interspersed law, gesticulate modulation contrast,structure's rationality, superb pictograph and take the traditional character creation as the resource and principle for modern design to make the design have more national characteristic and feature. The inspiration got from traditional character for script design may be character itself's shape and meaning, may be the content which the words and sentences want to express, may be infection brought by traditional script or culture,may also be inspiration from the character itself. No matter what it is, our designers should be sensitive and attentive, do more observation and record,maybe you can get inspiration from them and make them be the resource of design.At the same time, on the basis of inheritance and inspiration, you should change, not only inherit traditional pristine but also make the design fashionable. This needs conversion, but this kind of conversion is natural,harmonious and reasonable.In script design, fusion is a kind of artistic conception which the designers purchase for, is hard to exceed, is a perfect dream. In script design, conversion is not only the unity in shape,but also the exchange of views. In the design methods we have studied, fusion refers to make the tradition and moderness be in harmony. both the form and artistic conception should be in high consistency, use shape to show meaning and use meaning to show spirit,combine the past and present and use past to show present.This is a design method which can make the design artistic conception with both the past and the present.
