The Charm Of Material

The architectural construction material is the most objective element of the archit ecture, it adhere to the space and the structure of the architecture. It is the expression of the buliding, and displayed the inside and outside space. The designers paid more attention to the materials in the recent years, they used different materials with different texture. In the meantime, they made more and more academic research. In this thesis I focuse on the architectural construction materials, analysing the concept of the architectural design. I attempt to discover and find the materials' deeper expressive force and enchantment through the analysing and the research.This thesis include the researching background, researching purpose, the meaning of the research, research method and the current achievement in this academic area. I made the reseach about different materials' original form and character, and expatiated the elementary knowledge and the evolvement of the architectural construction materials in the architectural history, meanwhile, I expatiated the new materials' development. I analysed the function of the architectural construction materials by some outstanding cases, I found some negative problems about the architectural design, especially about the high-class materials using without limits, same materials chosing, simply constructed and so on. I sumed up the main points of the art form and the design process of different materials in my research, analysing the organic material, the culture, the artistic quality. In the final of the thesis, I pointed out the charms of the architectural construction materials in the architectural design.
