Serial Anthology And Textual Examination Of The Historical Materials Of Literature In Unofficial Records Of Wanli Period

Shen Defu,as a famous man of letters in Wanli Period,has poems handed down.His works,Unofficial Records of Wanli Period (Wanli Yehuobian),gives us a vivid sight on Ming Dynasty,and it's important for our future generations to have a better understanding of the social significance of the Ming Dynasty and the literature of historical datavalue of worth.This article is based on the edition of Zhonghua book company in 1958. All of the historical datas respects the original as much as possible.Where there is doubt,there is footnote or parenthes to illustrate later.I tried to punctuate all the dates,and cann't avoid the errors.Hope to be corrected.This subject includes four chapters, the previous three chapters are the historical materials of literature classified.The first chapter is in accordance with the classification of literary genres, including poems, dramas,couplets and other types of historical data.This chapter is the most direct literary documents.The second chapter is classified according to writers, including the individual writers and literary groups.Individual writers only include the well-known writers, such as Li Zhi.Literary groups contain the center of the Ming Dynasty literary groups, such as Late Seven Literary Giants represented by Wang Shizhen.This chapter is also less direct than the first chapter.The third chapter is classified by scholars of social life, including the imperial examination, social thought and style, publication by government and private person.Imperial examination is a major factor affecting Literature in Ming Dynasty.And in order to learn about the scholars,we must know those knowledges.This chapter is indirectly related to the historical literature, that is social class.Chapterâ…£is textual research based on the three chapters.The textual research is for the aid of other books and records,only for the dates in Unofficial Records of Wanli Period which also appears in the literary documents of the same or similar historical records.
