The Study Of Chinese Sports Feature Films During New Period Of Time

As an important type of film, sports feature film was given a high value in the theory of foreign country, but the study of its creation and theory are almost in the quiet state.In this paper, I'll divided "the new period" into three parts which is (1976～1990), (1990～2003), (2003 to present), and then, try to clarify those trends. That is firstly from promoting the national spirit which is the grand narrative to the individual life concern; secondly with the human advanced and deepen cognition to the sports spirit, more and more people begin to do the further concern of the whole sports and to reflecting something.According to the changes in the creation of sports feature film, this thesis try to analyzing the internal factors under its social and cultural context, and then through foreign sports videos model of development, try to summarize the types of sports-themed video features, audio-visual features and acceptable features comparatively.The conclusions of the limitations and the achievements of sports feature film will be made, and several advices based on the Chinese film industry will be given to the development of sports feature film, under the political, economical, cultural and other social context.
