Sports-themed Feature Films

Youth Skate is a sports feature film with the fundamental purpose of promoting long-board sports.By showing an ordinary people’s daily life with sport,people will understand the importance of having a sport that they love.At the same time,it plays a correct role in propaganda for the long-board culture.I hope that more people will love the long-board sport,so as to promote the development of extreme sports especially the long-board in China.The film focuses on a group of skaters who love skateboarding and long-boarding,and selects the most representative skater who has brand sponsorship and has been a long-boarding coach for a long time as the main interview subject.Interviewed and sorted out the commentaries of the works and connected the pictures together according to the interview with him,filmed and edited to present a collection of the current status quo of the long-board circle,including teaching,training,friendship between skaters,and problems in the long-board circle and other issues.From the perspective of the author,this article expounds the creation process of the sports feature film Youth Skate into two parts.The first part is the preliminary ideological preparation for the creation of the film,including the topic selection’background、purpose and significance,the accumulation of reading of relevant documents,and the setting of interview questions.The second part is the post-production practice of creating the work,including the selection and preparation of equipment before shooting,the chemical reaction with the subject during shooting,and the organizing and editing of the materials after shooting.Finally,I made a creative summary of the entire creative process of the film.
