Europeanization has tow ideas which one is belong to narrow sense and the other is broad. Broad Europeanization chiefly means that the Chinese society has the change in the science and technology, literature and art, thought and idea, measure of value, the custom of aesthetics under the effects of the west. Narrow Europeanization means that traditional Han language has the change of the effects of foreign languages. Simply speaking, narrow Europeanization means Han language absorbs foreign grammar and words in order to create its own writing language forms. Chinese new poem is created as a new poetry form of free forms and natural syllable under the effect of foreign poems in wusi period, which uses the Baihua as the poetry languages, desert the stationary forms of the Chinese traditional poetry, and absorbs the useful parts of Chinese traditional poetry,Europeanization effects Chinese new poetry by the means of translation. This paper aimed to research the effect of Europeanization on the basis of history material chiefly, meanwhile we will reveal the use of translation in this process and depict the source of translation in order to reveal the truth that Europeanization affect Chinese new poetry.This paper consists of the introduction, body and conclusion of three parts in all.The introduction chiefly indicates the significance of the effect of Europeanization. At the same time, we will explore other people's research on this theme as to widen our researching span.The body part mainly indicates the effect of Europeanization, its way—translation and its source.The fist part of the main text explores the way that Europeanization affects Chinese new poetry and how Europeanization affects Chinese new poetry. The paper believes, not only does translation affect the new poetry in language, but also in poetry forms. Therefore, it's necessary to explore the source and process of modern translation movements. At the same time we aimed at researching the source of Europeanization to reveal the idea that Europeanization affects Chinese new poetry by the means of translation gradually.The second part mainly reveals the resource of Europeanization of Chinese new poetry and its practice. From the translation of Chinese poets in modern time, west preachers'and the poets in Wusi period, based on the historical materials we clearly reveal the relationship between Chinese new poetry and Europeanization.The third part chiefly researches the effect of Europeanization in the language and form of poetry. This paper analyzes the effect of Europeanized words and grammar, which is the main aim we explore. Especially, based on the language ontology this part analyzes the effect of Europeanization in thought. In form aspects, this part Chinese new poetry absorbs foreign rhythm and poem line. In this part we illustrate some new poem texts to reveal the effect of Europeanization.Based on the research of effect of Europeanization to Chinese new poetry, the Conclusion of this paper looks forward to new prospects for the future development of new poetry.
