A Research On Poems Of Song Wen Jian

Song Wen Jian (appreciation of articles from Song Dynasty) is a collection of poems and prose in Northen Song Dynasty composed by Lv Zuqian in Southern Dynasty under the authority of the emperor Xiaozong. It is also the first complete collection based on a single dynasty, thus occupying a predominant status and fully reflecting that time. This thesis carries out an analysis of some poems and proses from the collection.Chapter one mainly centers on the forming process and the genres of poems in it. It mainly introduces the reason that why Xiaozong selects Lv Zuqian to recompose Shensong Wenhai and why uses genres to classify the creativity of the poems in Song Wen Jian and the importance attached to five-character-ancient-verse. This pattern is more precision than the style by theme.The reasons are Classical Prose Movement's affect,the recognized of Writing Poems as Essay,political education's affect and LvZuqian's personal view.Chapter two introduces the authors of the poems in the collection. It elaborates on the norms Lv uses to select the poets and comes to the conclusion through the inverstigation of the hometown of the poets of the southward movement of the cultural center and also the lay out of the culture at that time. Besides, it also collects some minor poets, thus having great research value.Chapter three is the main part of the thesis. It elaborates on the poetic thought of Lv Zuqian by these poems. After a peruse of the poems in it, the author of this thesis comes to the conclusion that Lv emphasizes the pragmatic function of poems and it representative the respected of ethics.The importance of rhetoric shows that Lv prefers to Literature.The poetic styles is dull and orthodox.It prove that Lv authorizes poetics of Bei Song Dynasty and he abide by confucian personalitiesThe compile of Song Wen Jian shows the poetry history of Bei Song in LvZvqian.This study will improve the research of Lv and we can see the accept of Bei Song poems in Nan Song's people.
