Analysis On People's Spiritual Needs In The Viewpoint Of Harmonious Society

Thoughts are always torturing the spiritual condition of the times with the purpose of promoting healthy trends of time spirit, which requires facing to the problem itself. The times is the times with great achievements, while this is also a times giving rise to a lot of problems as viewed from philosophical criticism and human studies and problems arising from people's spiritual field are especially prominent. However, crises comes from people's thoughts, sentiment and spiritual world as well with increasing improvement and advancement of people's material life in today when we are building harmonious society, such as some people get into belief crises, consumerism becomes prevailing, vulgar culture is inundant and people's"materialization"phenomenon is serious and some other problems concerning people's spiritual needs, making people get into confused, vain and painful states and even feel spiritual anxiety and losing of the meaning of life. These problems have become disharmonious factors in building socialist harmonious society, affecting harmonious development and progress of the society seriously.Building socialist harmonious society is to build a psychosomatically harmonious society with people's material and spiritual needs satisfied continuously, rich materials and poor spirits or on the contrary are not harmonious. Therefore, whether harmonious social relation and social structure can be built is subjected to the influence of the indicator in the spiritual aspects,harmonious degrees of social relation and social structure are directly influenced by people's spirit, mood, mentality, faith, belief, ideal, etc. For this reason,single material needs in production process shall have a transition to material-spiritual-needs concurrent and balanced times, material and spirit are like dual wings of birds, the Chinese Nation can rise only when both material and spirit are advancing side by side harmoniously.It is basic ideas and venation of the studies of this text to research and discuss people's spiritual needs under the major background of building socialist harmonious society. Taking basic contents of spiritual needs as starting point and harmonious society as cutting-in point, this text analyzed problems existing in people's spiritual needs and also put forward some countermeasures and suggestions beneficial to build harmonious society in consideration of people's spiritual needs. This text is divided into four parts, the first part mainly elaborated on the historical origins of theoretical thoughts of spiritual needs, reviewed and summarized the theory of spiritual needs in brief, meanwhile, connotation, component factors, characteristics and social roles of spiritual needs wear also analyzed, paving theoretical basis for latter discussion and researching on spiritual needs. The second part outlined understanding of harmonious society from theoretical thoughts of Mr. Karl Marx,analyzing important significance of people's spiritual needs to harmonious society. The third part discussed principal questions arising from Chinese people's spiritual needs during building harmonious society,e.g.: some people suffer from spiritual crisis due to people's difficult-to- satisfied spiritual needs, windy belief and faith and utilitarian interaction, etc. The fourth part put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions against problems arose from people's spiritual needs. Preliminary discussion was made in this text on countermeasure thoughts for spiritual needs from the aspects of developing productivity, education and culture and the like in the hope of attracting valuable comments from and learn from my respected colleagues.
