The late 19th century early 20th century, the outbreak of the industrial revolution to make people's lives has been a qualitative change. Science has brought great material wealth, people in the spiritual world has lost its emotional pillar. Has reached its peak in the Western tradition of painting techniques and gradually move toward the extreme, it is a vague sense that the purpose of painting is no longer a mechanical imitation of nature, but in new forms to express the most genuine emotion, return to the simple human nature, looking for a natural appearance is hidden vitality. The emergence of modern Western art, is called upon by human nature and emotions. Part of the artist trying to get back the original art of origin, their use of language in some children's drawings in the form of visual expression of emotions, there has been a large number of full of "naivety" of the paintings become a piece of painting into the modern soil.
