Museum is an important symbol of national economic development and social civilization. In recent years, due to China's rapid economic development, the second peak of museum construction since the founding of new China has come. The design of the museum has been assigned new functions and new roles. Some new trends of design concept have also emerged.Since fifties and sixties in the last century when "humanism" was proposed in western countries, "Humanized design" immediately drew large attention from the design community. After over half a century of exploration, it has been formed a relatively sophisticated design philosophy. In recent years, having met the basic "humanized using", the western developed countries begin to think about how to provide a more comprehensive humanized services in a more intuitive way in the functional areas. As a direct tool in perception, "Eye" has become a more refined object in functional spaces and attracts more and more researches. In these countries, a growing number of museums and exhibition places considered the design from the "visual" point of view. Hence there have been many exhibition places which go beyond the "humanized design" but "visually humanized design"The concept of "humanized design" entered relatively late in China. And China is still in the early stages of development of the museum. Therefore, for the design of the "humanized" conditions are still under exploring not mention to the "humanized design" from the "visual" point of view for which there is still no existing comprehensive research proposal.Focusing on the largest local museum - Inner Mongolia Museum, this paper attempted to investigate their visually humanized design of the exhibition places and summarize the features of Inner Mongolia Museum in visually humanized design. Meanwhile, we collected both domestic and international on museum display and proposing feasibility study of future visually humanized design in the exhibition places of Inner Mongolia Museum. And we tried to apply the results of this study to an on-going project - the design of the display sites in Inner Mongolia Museum Wenbo Center. In the first section of this paper, we mainly analyzed the regional-specific and national-specific identity in Inner Mongolia region. We tried to illustrate from the fundament that the visually humanized design shows different feature in different environment. In the second section of the paper, we studied the concrete manifestation of the visually humanized design from both the spiritual and the physical level in the exhibition places of Inner Mongolia Museum. In the third section of the paper, based on previous two sections and data analysis on domestic and international museums and exhibition hall, we posited the direction of future visually humanized design in the exhibition places of Inner Mongolia Museum from multi-dimension. And to adopt the research results as a sample, we applied to the on-going design of the display sites in Bayannaoer Wenbo Center. The visually humanized design in the exhibition place is based on the humanistic spirit, which studies the relationship between "person" and "objects" in the exhibition place. The exploration of visually humanized design for the exhibition place in the Inner Mongolia Museum, which is a large, modern, and integrated local museum, provides the sample basis for our research contents.
