Shen Qifeng is a very personal opera writer. He was born in the sixth year of Qianlong (1741), died in the seventh year of Jiaqing (1802).He had participated in multiple examinations, but all failed. In his earlier life, he had uninhibited personality, loved opera, renowned as a dramatist and took part in the revision opera-repairing work in the Qianlong period. During the later half, he stopped writing operas, and publicly expressed his remorse for the the behavior of his young. As a result, he was the favorite teacher by his students. As an important dramatist in the Qing Dynasty, his works were full of unique elements. In this paper, the main object will be the Shen's creations. In the background of gradual decline of the mid-Qing theater, through the specific analysis of his family, life, personal characteristics of creative interest and the writing, I'll further reveal Shen's Opera artistic achievements, inspect his status and contributions, investigate the reasons of the decline in the mid-Qing theater.The first chapter is based on "Bin Yu Essay" in national library and other raw materials, studies the problem of Shen's family background the scholars has never settled and correct some wrong ideas. Sorts out Shen's literary creations and focus on the concept of his dramas and the reasons for the change.The second chapter sorts of the plot themes of "Shen's Four Dramas" sum up the similarities of the plot module of Shen's dramas. Focus on the reconfigurations of "Man's List" and "Tigers Tao", the former combines with Shen's personal experiences, explore the underlying meaning, the latter lists systematically the images of the jealous woman, discover Shen's creative points of interest and creative features.The third chapter, deeply analyzes the achievements of Characterization, plot structure, arrangement of "Shen's Four Dramas". Shen Qifeng majorly concerned about the fate of the wit just like him, but the shape of the little guys'image was even better. Shen's drama structure has many innovations, and embodies the artistic achievements of his Chinese opera and drama ideas.This article will make a unique Interpretation with the combination of Shen's life experiences and personality, highlight the uniqueness of his creations.
