A Initial Researche On The Historiography Of Li ZongTong

Li ZongTong(1895-1974)is a famous historian nowadays. He mainly engaged in the research of Ancient Chinese History,Studies on Qing Dynasty,Studies on novel history and Studies on Chinese history of historiography. He produced a great deal of works and have pupils everywhere.But because of his pass away earlier and historical reasons,political reasons which made long-term interruption on academic between Mainland and Taiwan, so mainland academic circle seldom focus on it. His learning have initiate form of new academic times of the may fourth period, so observing and studying his learning helps us to recognize his behavior and academics competely and pracitical, also helps us to understand early stage state and feature better in the Chinese modern academic development.The whole thesis including forewords,five chapters in main body and reflections. Forewords introduced present situation and cause about a Study of Historiography of Li ZongTong.First chapter introduced his life story, which conclude main academic organizes which he participate in or his experience in these organizes. Second chapter to fifth chapter introduced Li ZongTong's masterpiece in his four study fields, such as Ancient Chinese History,Studies on Qing Dynasty(including modern history),Studies on Chinese history of historiography. And then we analyzed and evaluted his learning theory,charateristic,gain and loss, absolutely about his status and influence in the process of the modern Chinese historiography construction.
