A Study On The Academic Thought Of Yang Dongchun

Yang Dongchun(1900-1979),who was a famous philosopher, historiographer and educator of the present age, had much experience in several academic fields, which featured the age in some extent.By combining Yang Dongchun'academic practice in philosophy, historiography and education fields, this article will try to discuss his academic thought comprehensively and draw some beneficial lessons for the construction of the present academy.This article consists of three parts and the major part also consists of four parts as follows:First part is a simple introduction of Yang Dongchun'academic experience. Before 1927, studying and taking part in revolution was his major work, but after he went to Japan in 1927, he put his major energy in theoretical study and academic research until 1932.Then his major effort was put in education field.Second part is a research of Yang Dongchun'major academic thought. In this part, by considering the special age environment, I will try to explain the form and development of Yang Dongchun'thought in dialecticial materialism field.The third part is a discussion about Yang Dongchun'historical thought and his achievement in this field.The last part is a conclusion of Yang Dongchun'basic educational thought.
