Yang Dongchun’s Academic Thought Research

Yang Dongchun,the word is Qi Pao,the famous contemporary translator,historian,educator and social activist.His whole life might venture into academic and political fields.This article is to synthesize his thoughts and practical activities in philosophy,history and education,to discuss his academic thoughts and to give an objective evaluation of seeking truth from facts.This paper is divided into six parts.The first is the introduction.Part ii:Yang dongchun’s road to learn academic.According to Yang dongchun’s social experiences from 1900 to 1979,the section give an overall description of his academic career.At first,Yang dongchun’s schooling experiences and revolutionary activities in his youth.In addition,he went to Japan learnt materialistic conception of history and attended academic activities.On the next section,it is his education experience.At last,it is the academic and social activities after he was assigned to central government.Part iii:Yang dongchun’s translation path.The chapter from the perspective of philosophy thought,translation conception,philosophy achievement to analyze the translation’s connotative meaning and narrative principle,and to reveal his philosophy have great contribution to philosophy road.Part iv:Yang dongchun’s historical science road.The article from three aspects of historiography thought,philosophy conception,historiography achievement to detail analyz article and discuss his historical thought,,historical concept and historiography achievement that had great impact on Chinese academic circles at that time.Part v:Yang dongchun’s education road.From two aspects of education ideas and practical activities,the article exerts a large number of detailed historical data on completely re’view his education activities.In addition,the chapter from two aspects of wartime education and normal education to analyze,induct,summarize his education thought.Part vi:Epilogue.On the basis of previous five parts,the article summarize his academic thought and practice in academia,and point out the deficiency and its derives.Finally make overall evaluation for Yangdongchun.
