This thesis is based on the research of fiber and space arts. From the view of materials, it discusses the new context Ready-mades showed when they are involved in fiber and space arts. And implications it reveals in post-modern "mixed space".The thesis discusses the use and contemporary significance of Ready-mades in fiber and space arts by three chapters. The first chapter discusses the use of Ready-mades in fiber and space arts by vertical comparison of history. And the following development, it merges the two art forms, resulting in alienation of unique space with the concept of art at that time.The second chapter analyzes horizontally the use of Ready-mades in fiber and space arts, focuses on the cultural implication combined fiber and Ready-mades are presented.
