Based on context theory and Chinese acceptation theory, this paper researches on the function and manners of context in interpretation when teaching Chinese as a second language. Using classification, examples, statistical methods and other methods, it analyzes the function and manners of linguistic context and situational context and cultural context in interpretation when teaching Chinese as a second language all-round.Based on Chinese acceptation theory, this paper analyzes the function of context in interpretation from aspects of grammatical meaning and lexical meaning, making a classifiers analysis of the funtion of context. With regard to the characters of Chinese and the teachers'role in teaching, it reseaches manners of interpretation by using context from aspects of linguistic context and situational context and cultural context, making the analysis of the manners of using context in interpretation more multiple. And by observing the teaching matierials, it researches the applicability of using context in interpretation.This paper put forward the following views:In Chinese vocabulary teaching, we should think highly of the function of context in interpretation, and apply multiple manners to use context in interpretation. We shoule take the word class and the characters of different words into consideration when thinking about the applicability of using context in interpretation.
