With the increase of competitions among enterprises, enterprises have begun to realize that the enterprises can not be success by a key point but can be a success by a good business model.The paper selects the Yanbian Focus Media Company as a case to study the business model issue. The media industry has a good role in promoting the development of the enterprises. Currently a new type of media named focus media appears. The construction of such business model has some unique features, the enterprises may have a competitive advantage with such business model, so it has research value.The study of business model is still at an early stage, researchers at home and abroad analyze and summarize the business models according to their different angles and present ideas. This paper regards the value chain as the most fundamental analysis tools, and regards the enterprise resource-based theory, the value chain theory, the innovation theory as base. This paper begins with the creating of value and proposes some advices about the business model. The resources owned by the enterprises can be translated to value by the business model. The enterprises should propose value proposition based the resources and format an unique ability to ensure the competitive advantage. As the market environment keeps changing, the enterprises should timely changed and innovated the business model to enhance enterprise competitive strength.The study of Yanbian Focus Media Company is the highlight of this paper. It relies on the available market resources, capital resources and intangible resources, and disuse advertising about products or brand for middle and high level of consumer groups at the right time and place. The goal is grabbing the attention of target customer groups, improving the power of media resources and creating an unique focus media. Although the company has some worries, the construction is stable. This paper provides a number of proposals and draws some inspiration to promote long-term development.In summary, this paper is based on the hypothesis that business model is the key of the enterprises. Through the study of the business model and the rise of focus media, the paper defines value creation process and evaluation indicators of the business model, and takes the Yanbian Focus Media Company as a case to study its value creation process of business model, and puts forward relevant proposals and inspiration to rich the theory and make the enterprises better.
