Study About The Visual Communication Of Time And Space In The Pictorial Language

With the rapid development of modern electronic technology, the culture of human society is transferring priority from culture of language to visual culture. Of these two cultures, the former takes textuary rational reading as dominant factor, while the latter takes pictorial watch.On the basis of movement substance of material world, the paper treats "movement" as a information element of visual communication in some details. As distinct from traditional painting in that 3D space displayed in 2D surface, many artists in visual arts field are trying to effect theory of 4D space in both 2D surfer and 3D space.In this paper, The "movement" is interpreted from two aspects of movement tendency (or movement situation) and "movement" itself respectively, the latter resolves itself into "time" factor and "space" factor. These attempts are not only to embody in graphic design field, but also to achieve in 3D contouring design field.The movement is to be interpreted as a visual element from expression and perception for visual language, so that the author puts forward a theoretical research angle related to visual arts. In the course of dissecting movement subject, time concept, space concept and things, the author realize gradually interpreted the movement as a language of visual communication keeps pace with requirements of information dissemination nowadays.
