Regional features of folk art are closely related with geographical environment and ecology, and have distinct personality characteristics. Style features of folk art form the specific atmosphere. Although there are many differences of nationalities, regions and circumstances, the common, close and similar cultural traditions which belong to Chinese are desire and pursuit of happy life. As important and integral part of folk culture and art, folk art is public and life art. It reflects unique taste of working people life, represents people's aesthetic ideal, and is precious spiritual wealth of national culture. Recent years, folk art was paid more attentions, rescued and protected by the relevant government departments. Therefore this article aims at culture charms of folk auspicious art through exploring folk art forms and regional features in Shaanxi distinct.First, though early data collection and field research, the article touched all kinds of expression forms of folk auspicious arts in Shaanxi distinct. Discussing with local folk artists, the article learned origin, inheritance and development of folk art deeply.Second, though field research, the article makes every effort to recognize and understand folk auspicious arts. Relative study materials was arranged and inserted into research framework for further project integration.Regarding decorative culture of folk art as a starting point and relying on auspicious art in Shaanxi distinct, basing on a large amount of development history, auspicious culture, folk culture, geographical environment and aesthetic value, this article comparative studies arts features, shape form, philosophy thinking and aesthetic emotion in Guanzhong, Shanbei and Shannan districts. Thus it put forward the thesis that luck figures must herit, develop and use by figures,characters and colours in visual communication design..
