This study uses the Stroop task and the variant and inspects the interference control ability of the ADHD children and the normal children systematically by group study methods. Based on the experimental results, it has explored the processing characteristics of the ADHD children in different types of interference control tasks, which is combined with the findings of the literature. In this study, there are 2 parts and 4 experimental tasks. In part I, it has studied the ADHD children performance on confict-based interference control by 3 different versions of Stroop color-word tests. The results from Experiment 1.1which uses the Stroop color naming task ,Experiment 1.2 which uses the starting model of the color voice naming and Experiment 2 which uses the Stroop color identification task of non-voice naming, shows that the ADHD children have more performance on the conflict effect than the normal children in voice naming model, which illustrates that the ADHD children are defective on interference control ability. And Experiment 1.2 shows that the ADHD children have a kind of cognitive processing defect-voice processing backwardness. Integrating the results of naming response and pressed key response, this study shows that the ADHD children have defective on conflict interference control. In the second part, it has explored the ADHD children performance on non-conflict interference task. The result of Experiment 3 which adds a non-conflict interference stimulas on the basis of Stroop task, shows that the ADHD children still have the obvious defect of interference control.According to the experimental results and analysis, several conclusions of this study are as follows: 1)The ADHD children have the defect on interference control. 2)The ADHD children have the defect of interference control not only on the conflict interference but also on the non-conflict one. 3)The performance of the ADHD children on the Stroop color naming task is influenced by rapid naming deficiency.
