Winston Churchill(1874-1965), the former British prime minister, was a fighter against the Soviet-style communist. About the thought of Churchill's anti-Soviet Union, the domestic academic community followed the theory and view of the former Soviet Union long-term, classified simply it as bourgeois ideology, lacked a further excavation. I believe that from the long perspective of historical development, the thinking or understanding of Churchill's anti-Soviet, in large part reflect the differences of main national traditions, national characteristics between British and Russia. Based on this idea, the article would like to conduct a new analysis on the thought and its root of Churchill's anti-Soviet Union. In addition to introduction and conclusion, the article is divided into three parts:Part I: Investigate the thought of Churchill's anti-Soviet from the policy level. There were two peaks about Churchill's Anti-Soviet Communist throughout his life, both are just at the end of two world wars. Here, we expand the specific analysis from two aspects: the policy of interference in World War I and the evolution of Churchill's thinking to contain Russia. Churchill put interference into two stages, early he emphasized the need for World War I, later moral factors also, as his own is responsibility. The idea to contain Russia just appeared in intervention period, then displayed Cordon sanitaire﹑Britain-France-German and Anglo-American-Japanese Cooperation﹑ Economic penetration and so on, after a temporary adjustment, eventually led to the "cold war" situation after World War II.Part II: Investigate the thought of Churchill's anti-Soviet from the Ideology."British consciousness", which is the ideological root of Churchill's anti-Soviet, constituted by three points: deep-rooted conservatism, the idea of freedom and democracy, appreciate the road for peace reform. In addition to Analyze Specifically the composition of"British consciousness", also discuss its formation and origins. Shaped from the environment of family and times, coupled with Churchill unremitting hard work and widespread social practice, Churchill formed gradually a deep-rooted " British consciousness". Shaped by Environment of the family and time, combined with relentless hard work and discipline and extensive social practice, gradually Churchill formed a deep-rooted"British consciousness". The ideology derived mainly from tradition.PartⅢ:In fact, the ideology and behavior of Churchill or the Bolshevik can not get rid of the stereotype of whose national traditions and national characteristics. No doubt, the Violent Revolution, Armed Uprising and The New Dictatorship adapt to conditions in Russia, correspond with Russia's traditional and it's nationality, however, these are not recognized by Churchill. Meanwhile, as a special observer, Churchill's understanding after October Revolution on the Soviet Union just reflects the process which growing tradition of Bolshevik regime, also reflect the differences on national characteristics and traditions between Britain and Russia. The contents shall be examined in the part.
