Ren Hongxiang Pipa Art Study

Ren Hongxiang (1942-1999), born in Pucheng Shaanxi, a famous PiPa player, composer, and educator. This paper takes Ren Hongxiang and his PiPa Arts as research object, collates and summarizes essences of his music creation and performance as well as significance and impact of surgery on a theoretical basis, aiming that meaningful artistic inspiration can be designed to create and provided. This paper is divided into four chapters, by methods of documents, induction, comparison, and illustrations, from four aspects to make a comprehensive study of Ren Hongxiang's PiPa Art.The first chapter is"the art progress of Ren Hongxiang", which through the interview note with his son Ren Chang, and through the summation and colligation of available research data, makes a brief introduction of Ren Hongxiang in respect of his family, study, work and so on.The second chapter is the"PiPa works of Ren Hongxiang and his composition style", in which there firstly is a classification of his works, and then his style is featured from angle of melody, creation technique and sensation involved.The third chapter is"Ren Hongxiang's PiPa art", which concludes his music style firstly, and then introduces his performing technique throughThe forth chapter is the"Ren Hongxiang's research of Pinghu PiPa School". The chapter, after introducing the Pinghu PiPa school, analyzes Ren Hongxiang's research of Pinghu PiPa school, so as to reveal the influence of his study towards PiPa art.
