Cognitive Strategies are defined as goal-oriented mind operation .Individual can arrive at the aim of problem-solving by using strategies. There have been much study concerning to the relation of working memory and mathematics anxiety, this can't public the regulation and the process of a child mathematics cognition strategy development. Owing to this, two study was designed to explore the influence of the working memory, mathematics anxiety to children of primary 3 in mental arithmetic cognition strategy choice and performance.Studyâ… was designed to test the performance that was done by 90 different working memory children of primary 3 .the problem include difference addition and multiplication was presented by computer, in order to explore the characteristics of the mental arithmetic cognition strategy choice and performance. The results indicated that:(1)the strategies selection of children with different span had significant difference, high-span children most often chose retrieval strategy which directed the problem answer from the long-time memory ,and the retrieval efficiency, accuracy and the speed was significant difference than the lower span children .the other strategies inefficiency, accuracy and the speed wasn't significant difference .(2)In addition, the influence of strategy selection and performance to each child isn't significant ,in multiplication , the influence of strategy selection and performance to each child is significant. The low-span working memory children's are lower in the adaptability of the problem topic type than others.(3)Difficulty of problem influence three sets of children's of the strategy selection and performance ;At simple problem, the strategy performance of the differed children's of working memory is not significant ;At complications problem, high-span working memory children's in strategy selection often used direct the answer of problems from the long-time memory this strategy was efficiency, and the correctness of strategy performance is higher.Studyâ…¡primarily probed the performance that was done by 90 different lever of mathematics anxiety children's of primary 3 on mental arithmetic cognition strategies. the results indicated:(1)mathematics anxiety influence the strategy choice and performance on children's mental arithmetic cognition strategy. Low math anxiety children were often use retrieval strategy which was high- efficiency, and the accuracy and speed of the strategy was very high. The high mathematics anxiety were all lower in the accuracy and speed of strategy than others.(2)On the addition problem, three sets of mathematics anxiety children were not significant in the strategy of choice , and it has influence on the execution of strategies .On the multiplication problem, mathematics anxiety has influenced the choice and execution of all strategies. (3) The difficulty of problem influenced three sets of children's of the strategy selection and execution dissimilarity ,high mathematics anxiety children inclined to use low effect strategy, and strategy execution of the speed slow.In the general discussion, based on these studies, we discussed the finding about the developmental characteristics of cognitive strategies of 3 primary students as well as its relations to the math anxiety.
