Study Of Xinzhou Dialect

The phonology,vocabulary of the dialect of Xinzhou County ,Hubei province are described in the paper. And then we compare the phonology and vocabulary of the dialect of Xinzhou with the dialet of Tuanfeng, the dialet of Hankou and the dialet of Gan to discuss the consistency and differences of them , including the same phonology and vocabulary characteristics of the dialet of Gan in the dialet of Xinzhou. The paper also select a number of relatively unique grammar phenomenon in Xinzhou dialet to discuss, reveals the characteristics of Xinzhou dialet comprehensively. It provides some certain scientific evidence for solving the ownership of the Xinzhou dialect and and provides some scientific dialect basis for language contact theory.The thesis includes five chapters. Chapter one, Introduction. The geographical location, history, administrative boundaries and language backdrops of Xinzhou dialet are introduced in the chapter . And then we make a brief introduction of the materials, pronunciation symbols used in the paper as well as the cooperators in our investigation. Chapter two, The phonology of Xinzhou dialet. The phonology of Xinzhou dialect is described in detail and compared with mid-ancient pronunciation,Tuanfeng dialet,Hankou dialet and Gan dialect.So then the pronunciation traits of Xinzhou dialet is concluded in the end of the chapter. Chapter three,the study of dialect vocabulary of Xinzhou dialet. We compared the vocabulary of Xinzhou dialet withTuanfeng dialect,Hankou dialect and the ferture words of Gan to find the consistency and differences.we also introduced the emigration history of Xinzhou,and then compared the vocabulary of Xinzhou dialet with and the ferture words of Gan to post the consistency and differences. Chapter four,grammar study on Xinzhou dialet. The form of vivid adjectives, the sentence of Ta,the the aspect of Xinzhou dialect and the prep.Ba were described and a number of grammatical phrases listed in the chapter.Chapter five,Xinzhou dialect attribution. It summarized the research results and existing problems in this thesis. The appendix one is homophony syllabary of Xinzhou Dialect. The appendix two is classified thesauras of Xinzhou Dialect and three is grammar illustrative sentences of Xinzhou Dialect .
