An Effective Way To The Construction Of China's Soft Power

In the early 1990s,the concept of soft power was made by the famous scholars Joseph Nye.And then,this concept was well-known on the field of international relations,and to be an very important part of international competition.U.S.,EU,Japen are a powerful promoter of soft power to compete.30 years of reform and opening up to China's comprehensive national strength has markedly increased.In consolidating econormic strength and military strength at the same time,China is increasingly focusing on enhancing China's soft power.After years of efforts,China's soft power construction has made certain achievements,its international position in international stage is obviously improved,and its worldwide influence is also growing.However,China's culture,as a resources of the soft power,its external communication is relatively slow development of China's soft power constraints.The international community's awareness and understanding of China's greater emphasis on the economic front,while the understanding of Chinese culture and Chinese society,not many.In view of this situation,China has actively carried out cultural diplomacy,hoping to enhance cultural development and culture of the domestic foreign exchange,enhancing exchanges between China and the international community,to deepen the friendship between the Chinese and foreign people,and to make the China's soft power more strongger.The most concern is the Chinese government set up Confucius Institutes around the world to promote Chinese language and culture.After five years development,the Confucius Institute has become the effective way of China's soft power-building.My paper is divided into three parts to research China's soft power status as well as Confucius Institute's soft power function.Part 1.Expounded on the status of China's soft power.First ,mainly summarized the China's soft power from Chinese culture,China's development path,appropriate in terms of foreign policy.Then proposed the building of the limitations of China's soft power-lack of cultural innovation , China's development path and the spread of Chinese culture overseas;and finally,analysis the meaning and practice of the culture diplomacy dose in the construction of China's soft power.Part 2.The successful example of native language and culture promoting,the growth of China's comprehensive national strength,and the limitations of the construction of China's soft power,this three aspects made the establishment of Confucius Institute significant.The background of Confucius Institute's establishment is the imbalance of the international community's awareness of China,Chinese heat,and lagging behind of non-governmental diplomacy.Finally,it gives a brief over view of the settings under the Confucius Institute. Part 3. First, the Confucius Institute focuses on the way to build China's soft power,and then summed up the Confucius Institute in five areas of China's soft power-building.The buliding of China's soft power has been impressive,but still a long road ahead.Confucius Institute at China's soft power as a way of building,due to the establishment of a short time,soft power capabilities have not yet brought into full play,need for continued attention.
