Modern Chinese Pronunciation Examination Work

This paper mainly discusses on the background,progress,principles,methods,results and problems of the Modern Chinese Pronunciation Examination Work, and on the basis of summing up the past Pronunciation Examination Work principles and methods, Combined with the situation which modern Pronunciation had been faced, we propose several suggestions for the future Pronunciation Examination Work, hoping that will help for the future pronunciation work.The Modern Chinese Pronunciation Examination Work can be divided into two phases according to the time, one is in Republic of China, and the other is in People's Republic of China. In Republic of China, there had been twice pronunciation work, according to the result, they are called "old pronunciation" and "new pronunciation". And pronunciation works after liberation can be subdivided into two phases:60s' Pronunciation Examination Work and 80s'Pronunciation Examination Work, in these two phases《Mandarin Different Words Three Times Pronunciation Table Draft)) and《Mandarin Different Words Pronunciation Table》have been published.We will conclude the features of these pronunciation works to the following aspects:the organization, the methods of pronunciation, and the results of pronunciation work.According to the summary of the past pronunciation work, combining with the different words'features in the new age, this paper proposed some suggestions of the pronunciation methods.
