The fast pace of social progress, will bring acceleration of exchanges between different nations, and thus for a large number of overseas migrants. Among these nations, Singapore is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural syncretism country with 77% of its population is Chinese, thus making it as the third major Chinese cultural center besides Taiwan and Hong Kong. Society will be determines social consciousness, literature as a social ideology, it is certainly a product of social and historical conditions. Literature is a mirror of society and history, a large number of Singapore Chinese writers open up another piece of land for Singapore Chinese Literature with different kind of scenery, it reflects of Singapore's social and historical development profile from a different point of view.Globalization is an irreversible contemporary trend of world development. Given this background, Singapore's virtue of the excellent geographical location, two-thirds of the Chinese population, cultural syncretism of East and West, and the facts of multi-racial harmony, let us notice the great value of the Lion City's Chinese Literature in the development of overseas Chinese Literature. The buds, development, rise and fall of any kind of literature is socially closely linked to the historical background. This paper selects Singapore 70s emerging mini-novels as an example, from the start development profile of Singapore Chinese micro-novels (Referred as Xinhua micro-novels), to try to explore Singapore mini-novel writers'cultural identification under the context of globalization.This paper analyzes Xinhua micro-novel from three aspects: creation subject, creation body, creation carrier. Chapter one will combine the old, middle age and young generations of micro-novel writers in different aspect: publications in different periods, literary activities, representative writers and works, awards as well as the influence of literature, study how to answer"Who am I?"during the creation of the main society and culture; Chapter two will analyze publications from micro-novel's text, family life,citizens'living condition, Chinese complex topics, to further study how Xinhua micro-novels writers to seek their culture identity with mixing of localization experience and"China"complex. Finally, from the language Xinhua micro-novels, analyze the characteristics of"Mandarin", so as to achieve a comprehensive study the purpose of Xinhua micro-novel writers'cultural identity construction.In conclusion, Xinhua micro-novel writers'individual cultural identity construction is a continuous process of socialization. This paper attempts to sort out Xinhua micro-novel's formation, development and prosperous process in macro view, at the same time, with in-depth close reading of text, to analyze the evolution of Xinhua micro-novel in literature history,social and cultural context, and to reveal cultural identity and socio-cultural psychology behind the evolution.
