Singapore was a British colony in modern history,due to the needs of the port economy,a large number of foreign immigrants flock to Singapore,south China immigrants are the first immigrants to embark on this place.In the long integration with local residents,the Singapore Chinese have gradually developed a unique ethnic identity that differs from other ethnic groups.After Singapore established its own country,the development of Singapore Chinese society has entered a new era,however,unlike previous economic background,political environment,and identity,it has greatly influenced the development of contemporary Singapore Chinese culture.After the founding of the nation,the government need of national construction using administrative measures to guide Singapore Chinese culture,including Singapore Chinese language education and other factors that have a decisive role in the development of the Chinese community,allowing Singapore Chinese to a little cultural "lost sense";On the other hand,Singapore Chinese made its own response to the country's cultural policy,people from many disputes to actively adjust,showing the conformity of the Singapore Chinese to the construction of the nation and the overall awareness of national development.Interaction between the contemporary Singapore government and the Singapore Chinese in the cultural field,actually reflects the relationship between the Singapore country and society,therefore,this article further explores the model of interaction between the state and society from the perspective of the development of Singapore Chinese cultural difficulties,and tried to analyze the trend of future Singapore Chinese cultural development.
