Revival Of Spiritual Life Of Ritual Propriety By The Original Confucianists

"Ritual Propriety" Culture is one of the characteristics of Chinese traditionalculture. It is rooted in the period of Yin and Zhou Dynasties, and based on people'sthoughts about Heaven and Man——"Distinction between Heaven and Man", what isthe structure of the world by natural philosophy. After this, Duke of Zhou composedthe ritual propriety and music, which became a very important component of Chinesecharacteristics. And then, Confucius and his followers as Mencius, Master Xun, andother pre-Qin Confucianism, who continued to explore the meaning and elaborate of"Ritual Propriety", and revival of spiritual life of "Ritual Propriety".Confucius, as the founder of Confucianism, his causes and ideas aimed atrestoring Rites of Zhou. He gives a "present" inner spiritual life of the "ritualpropriety" by matching ceremony and righteousness. Confucius, primarily through"rectify one's mind to learn ", "esteem one's origin to reverence ", "due medium topractice "to establish the spiritual life of "Ritual Propriety".Confucius followers have a deeper discussion of the ritual propriety by the "SixWays" to connecte "emotions" and "rightousness". Mencius said the "ritualpropriey"just as one of the"Four Minds". Master Xun said "Ritual Propriety" with thepurpose of creating and starting for the development and practice of"PeacingEmotions". In this way, they worked together to accomplish and revival for thespiritual life of the "Ritual Propriety".Original Confucianism established and demonstrated the sprit life of the "RitualPropriety".While the ritual propriety changes, it continued extension of traditionalChinese culture and development. In this paper, the mainly purpose is to explore thespiritual life of Ritual Propriety by the Original Confucianists and in order to find apossible way to show some new comprehensions of the Confucianism.
