| Gao Fan always cultivates in the field of Chinese contemporary children's literature. His achievements become a colorful portion of children's literature of new age. He has published many children poems since 1986 and four collections of children poems. Every collection just like a trail of footprints of years, not only make him gained many prizes, but also got children's familiarity and fondness. Based on his children poems, the author of this article will hackle and describe the unique appearance of his poems from the three features respectively, and analyze the way of expression and the traits of variation of his creation thoughts.At the end of 1970s and the beginning of 1980s. Gao Fan eulogized the new age whole-hearted in which everything is new with his passion and longing. Many poems with the topics of politics and time life that he created are pure and bright. Afterward, the poet seized life and expressed his own special esthetic experience through the poems. He conveys the notions of true, good and beautiful through the accent of bright and lyric. Gao Fan's children poems pursue the perfect format that expresses his truehearted love to poems and the spirit of responsibility to children and himself. From the politics poems in 1970`s to the pure and sincere children poems that full of childlike innocence, Gao Fan transcends himself constantly and approaches to children poem consciously and completes the course of return to poeticalness of children poems.
