This paper is a part of the National Natural Science Funds——Relation between ecological environment evolvement with dry farming's origin and development of Northern China in the upper reaches of Xiliao River (No.40571155). This paper systematically research on relation between economic structure with human-land relationship of Lower Xiajiadian Culture by using theory and method of archaeobotany. Although academic circle has had significant development in district, division and social formation, and has had fruits about economic formation of Lower Xiajiadian Culture, it seldom appeared of systemic research fruits about economic structure and human-land relationship of the culture since 1980s'. I think that Xiliao River area 4000-3500 years ago belonged to a more proper warm period in the later period of Holocene, by pointed sampling and flotation, and plant classification and genus identification in typical ruins of Lower Xiajiadian Culture, and by comprehensive analysis of life appliances and production tool, and by deep discussion on settlement distribution, choice of economic type, proportion of millet growing in economic structure, food structure of ancient human and so on. Of course, above-mentioned argument is on the basis of acquired fruits of academic circle. Millet growing had become the main factor of social economy, and had obtained dominated position this period because of type diversification and shaped shape and structure of unearthed production tool, and absolute quantity of carbonization millet and broomcorn millet far more than other plants remains among the sample.
