Among literature works,"survey father","criticize father","uglify father", even"kill father"are one of the hottest topics in modern and contemporary literature and foreign literature. However, researchers mainly analyze from the perspective of offspring. As a result, there are fewer researches on filiation in fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty. This thesis attempts to research deeply on filiation in fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty on the basis of the preliminary typology. When it comes to fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty, this thesis discusses the topic from two aspects. On the on hand, this thesis begins with filiation under imaginary paternity in fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty and then emphasizes behaviors of the dutiful son, such as revenge for father, in search of father for a long way, commitment to father and so forth, which is greatly impacted by ethics in Ming and Qing Dynasty. The aesthetic value of depicting the dutiful son lies in the expression of truth, goodness and beauty. It seems to be a little ridiculous, while, we can see it is the love between father and son that becomes mainstream of society. On the other hand, on the basis of"youth-oriented"concept, this thesis analyzes traditional culture, influences of human nature that change the filiation. All these can more or less be seen in fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty under different aims. Moreover, there is great difference in filiation between Ming and Qing Dynasty and western countries at the same time, which is a result from different culture. After deeply analyzing the filiation in fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty, this thesis also mainly deals with tragic relationship between Kuang Zhang and his father in the 19th chapter of a typical fiction called The Romance of Figures in 72 Dynasties by Lei Daoren. The fiction between Kuang Zhang and his father spread early so this thesis makes a great change in the process of development. Mencius and Strategies of the Warring States both simply depict Kuang Zhang from the discussion of Mencius and Qi Wang instead of molding. While, The Romance of Figures in 72 Dynasties turns to molding Kuang Zhang. The language and action of the whole fiction are the main ways to depict characters, especially, it demonstrates Kuang Zhang's inside part by means of narrating the conversation with Qi Wang. In the analysis of the filiation, it is easy to find that this kind of tragedy results not only from their nature, but also from traditional ethical impact. There are many plots designed by fictionist in Ming Dynasty which is impacted by the times that the fictionist lives. The filiation in fictions of Ming and Qing Dynasty provides modern society with many typical examples. Therefore, as we analyze and remark on them, we appeal to establish a positive relationship between father and son.
