It is filial piety that is the origin of morality.As the essence of Chinese traditional ethical culture,filial piety is not only the core of Chinese feudal society ideology for thousands of years,but also the foundation of Chinese traditional ethics system and the primary of moralities.Family is the basis of Chinese traditional society,and in the pecking order of family relations,as a necessary moral standards,filial piety ethics rule parent-child relationship in a family.Traditional ethics system is established in ancient society,owing to the historical background of great agricultural country,the impact of patriarchal clan system and the worship of ancestors,totems and reproduction.The traditional filial piety consists of supports,respects and obedience for parents,mourning the dead,development of the family line,carrying forward the family business,even transferring filial piety to loyalty by showing loyal to the emperor.With the development of society,the change of life and production style,containment of cultural environment,filial piety constantly evolves.Regardless of the incentive criticism or development of the culture of filial piety,they all promote the growth and development of Chinese tradition filial piety.In the process of the transition from traditional filial piety to contemporary filial piety,on the one hand,family function with the refinement of the division of social labor to be reduced,and it's the most important fertility,parenting function determines that the object of filial piety are family members;One the other hand,human nature with the social changes gradually emancipated,in the rule of law society,people also pay more and more attention to personality.So,filial piety ethic gradually developed into modern filial piety which is intergenerational emotional interaction,consciously,equality of rights and obligations and the way of filial piety diversification.As for chinese society in the transition period,filial piety is also needed to maintain the harmony of family.However,as the result of the increasingly prominent problem of aging,changes of intergenerational relationships,and the conflict of concepts,the function of filial piety are faced with a serious of problems in current society.Therefore,it must be based on reality to adapt actual requirement for contemporary transformation.We pay highly attention to the construction of spiritual civilization today,society promotes the development of humanism,and everything insists on people-oriented.Filial piety as the growth of the country 's cultural soft power,as the same,it must be uphold the people-oriented belief.Therefore,the new filial piety can be summed up into six basic aspects in this paper: the premise of personality equality in the parent-child relationship,the basic guarantee of cherishing life,supporting parents is an unshakable attitude,the key part of spiritual care for parents,the essence of intergenerational harmony,an d the new concept of a great deal of supporting and brief funerals for parents.The implementation of the content is inseparable from the guidance of the principle.In the process of quickly constructing new filial piety,the author considers that by sticking to the principle of equality,emotion mutual benefit,self-discipline and cautions,to guide the contemporary show filial piety rationally,carefully and consciously.In the promotion and practice of filial piety,we should develop productivity vigorously,make use of the guidance of families and schools,with the help of propaganda and supervision of public opinion,strengthen the perfection of the legal system and ask for the assistance of government and community.As a basic morality,filial piety is helpful for the family harmony,strengthening social solidarity,improving the national quality.Therefore,based on the research of traditional filial piety and its transformation,through criticizing,inheriting,and constructing the new system of filial piety,it has an important theoretical and practical significance in current moral construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
