Among the hundred schools of thought in the pre-Qin dynasty, the Book of Master Zhuang undoubtedly possesses the richest Aesthetics meaning. The theme of the Book of Master Zhuang's philosophy is "life philosophy". Master Zhuang always focuses his attention on real life and individual life. Mr. Wen Yiduo has ever said master Zhuang is "the realest poet," "his thought itself is a wonderful poem." Many philosophical propositions in the Book of Master Zhuang also can be regarded as aesthetic propositions. The Book of Master Zhuang takes "Tao" as its foundation and "the spirit of absolute freedom" as its core. From an aesthetic point of view, "the spirit of absolute freedom" is the realm of the highest aesthetic ideals. "The spirit of absolute freedom" has the dual significance of life and aesthetics. It is the ultimate goal of master Zhuang's aesthetics and also the resting place for his philosophy of life. The process of understanding "Tao" to achieve "the spirit of absolute freedom" is also the process to reach unity of man with Heaven, which includes: "Fast of mind", "abandon all", then "void and quiescence", what comes naturally, just like the unity of man with Heaven as the best way.The Book of Master Zhuang is not an aesthetic writing, but the philosophy with aesthetic meaning has great influence to the formation and development of Chinese classical aesthetics. Chinese art is unique in the world and this phenomenon is closely connected to The Book of Master Zhuang. The content of my thesis is: From an aesthetic point of view to study the proposition, that is, the philosophy of life in The Book of Master Zhuang. Through my thesis is conducive to a new understanding of The Book of Master Zhuang's philosophy and classical Chinese aesthetics.
