The Evolution And Causes Of Modern Daily-use Ceramics' Design Concept

Design concept is the guiding ideology of human's design activity, which determines the human`s attitude and manner when human design, and thus directly affect the design activities.This paper reviews and summary of study in the modern field of daily-use ceramic products, from the industrialized mass production of ceramics to now, there are three main design concepts (ideological basis and design practice) in the evolution of ceramic products design, as the function over form, function equal form and humanity of function and forms.Through the analysis of the evolution of the three design concepts, fully explore the effect of various internal and external factors in the design ideas of daily-use ceramics product's forming and development processes, revealing the causes. Finally, according to the earlier study of this paper, proposed future development of household ceramics'design concept.Through document collection, summary and analysis, using the knowledge of product design and sociology field, combined with the specific case of excellent design, order and clarity the design concept evolution of modern household ceramics, defined the causes of design concept of the modern household ceramic, predict the trends of the design concept of household ceramics in the future. Through research, this paper tries to offer some theoretical references to the daily-use ceramic designers at the aspect of how to form the correct design concept and design innovation .? ?...
