China Near Hundred Year Statuary Art Manifestation Evolution

With the development of technology and the progress of time, people's requirement on the quality of public environment has been increasing all the time. Public art has entered a period of rapid development, the mission of art for transfiguring life has been refined. Ceramic sculpture, due to its material properties and its unique artistic charm, has begun moving from indoor environments to a viriety of outdoor environments gradually. This development meets the special requirements of culture and environment, and also bring ceramic sculpture art to a new field.How could our Chinese inherit and develop our culture and traditions in art and keep pace with the world's development of art while facing the five thousand years of long history and culture? Outdoor ceramic sculpture of sustainable development is worthy of research and study. This research subject is based on above considerations, by analyzing the cultural connotations and features of ceramic art, using the theoretical knowledge while integrating the knowledge with those successful sculpture artworks, analyze and research the conception of moving the ceramic sculpture on brackets to the outside of the door, and discuss the possibility of this tendency, in order to making the study of this terrain much more perfect and embodied.Based on an abundant field survey and study of ceramic sculpture, and the analysis and compare of the successful ceramic sculpture all over the world, this thesis alalyzed the properties and function of cermaic material, and discussed the relationship between ceramic sculpture and urban culture, meanwhile, analyzed the history and status quo of China, and studied the solution development and future direction of outdoor ceramic sculpture.
