Ci Hua was the most popular folk art between the last years of Yuan Dynasty and the early years of Ming Dynasty. It has influenced emergence of Chinese full-length novels. When scholars study emergence of Chinese full-length novels, they also noticed the influence of Ci Hua. But the studies didn't come to be a system and some still stayed on the surface.Analysis and comparison are used as main methods to study the relationship between Ci Hua and Chinese full-length novels. The article has four parts. First, it summarizes the definition, emergence and development of Ci Hua. Second, through analyzing Da Tang Qin Wang Ci Hua, the article has sum up Ci Hua's characters. Third, it demonstrate the relationship between Ci Hua and Chinese full-length novels like Water Margin, Journey to The West, Canonization of The Gods. Last, it discussed the relationship of Ci Hua and The Golden Lotus.Key points of the article are characters of Ci Hua and the relationship of Ci Hua and emergence of Chinese full-length novels. Characters of Ci Hua have three point: The most stories of Ci Hua are legends; the plot is tortuous; the written language is made up by both rhymes and prose. After comparing Ci Hua and Chinese full-length novels, the article found that Ci Hua is one of the sources of Chinese full-length novels.
