The intangible culture heritage is also named as immaterial culture heritage.It records the civilization and history of human and never rebirth again.The intangible culture heritage includes lots of resources,such as: folklore,art,custom,etiquette, handicraft,and so on.But,with the influence of global economy and modern civilization,the environment of the intangible culture heritage of Ethnic Minorities is disappeared gradually.more and more intangible culture heritage is going on disappearing.China is a multiracial country.So,there is full of intangible culture heritage and the work of protecting intangible culture heritage is very hard.It's very important to explore a scientific and reasonable way to protect our intangible culture heritage.This article starts from the concept and characters of intangible culture heritage,anlyazes the significance and function of protective work.A feasible way from development and usage of the information resource is proposed in the paper to protect the intangible cultural heritage.This paper includes six chapters.Chapter 1 is about the basic theories,background and purpose of the article.Chapter 2 introduces the concept and characters of intangible culture heritage,then recalls the history of protective work in China and gives some advices to improve protective work.Chapter 3 anlyses intangible culture heritage is a important sort of information resource to prepare for the next Chapter.Chapter 4 gives a method to develop and use the information resource in the work of protecting immaterial culture heritage.Chapter 5 sets Yunnan for a good example to protect intangible culture heritage.Chapter 6 makes a conclusion for whole article.
