This article, by means of taking a case of Norman's teaching skill and tecknique in oil painting and proceeding from the angles of teaching and the comprehension of painting, gives an all-round and concrete analysis, summary and proof on scientific method for education and rational viewpoint of moulding aswell as trrnd of values within the limits of comprehension of limited description through the author's practice, observation and research. The article provides a role of reference and direction in riching my own future teaching content and educational practice as well as in deepening thoroughly my understanding of painting art.
