Lao-tzu and Chuang-tzu's "Tao" and Experiencing Tao Philosophy, are the theoretical foundation for the ultra-utilitarian, super-ideological of China's"aesthetic mind"theory, provide methodological guidance and give it the spirit characteristics of"Emptiness and Quietness"."Aesthetic mind"theory rooted in traditional Chinese culture, its theoretical genes got different elucidation in later developing, in which some was inherited, some was innovated, so we had a lot of allegations and naming and formed a long developing chain. Although they had some difference in aesthetic dimension and emotion color, but their core theory were consistent, were all closely inherited from Lao-tzu and Chuang-tzu's literary aesthetics. The western"aesthetic attitude"has developed in the similar way."Aesthetic attitude"theory and"aesthetic mind"theory have the same core connotations, but because of the differences in cultural tradition they were incommensurable. We look at China's "aesthetic mind" theory in comparing way, and we can see its unique culture and national characteristics. This thesis mainly talks about"aesthetic mind"theory's philosophical foundation, historical rheology in literary aesthetics field, and comparison it with the western"aesthetic attitude"theory.
