During more than ten years time, the New Asia Academy which was established by Tai Chi-tao and others in 1931 organized a series of activities, such as the foundation of "New Asia" magazine, the issue of New Asia academy Series of books, relics exhibitions, oriental language classes and so on. Through a comprehensive inspection, the New Asia Academy gave lots of meaningful suggestions about border constructions, such as strengthening education, migration policy, the development of transport, exploitation of resources and so on. They also paid great attention to the oriental national problems, especially the national liberation movement and overseas Chinese status. And they called on oriental nations to strengthen communication and cooperation. The academy advanced the frontier research at the time and was known as one of the four famous border research groups during the Anti-Japanese War period. Limited by historical and classical conditions, the academy inevitably had some flaws. It exaggerated the role of religion and morality and took the construction of border areas as a fundamental means to resist invasion.
