It is well known that the emergence of human beings has a profound impact on the natural environment, though the origin of human can trace back to only a hundred million years ago. In the long years of human history, in order to survive and develop, man has to continue to adapt to and transform the nature, and gradually becomes an integral part of it. In this process, humans have begun to affect the local natural environment. Initially, due to low productivity, poor living conditions and other reasons, human's adaption activities were limited to relatively small areas. Then people began to migrate to another habitat, when a habitat was destroyed and the environment was no longer suitable for their survival. As the population was relatively small and the residences were dispersed in early ages, human's adaptation activities under the cover of nature's mysterious regeneration capacity appears to be insignificant. Until the industrial age, with technology development, human commanded more skills, and the increase of population made the living environment of human beings gradually link up, which joined the entire planet into human habitats. Human activities had gradually owned influence on the whole nature, which made people realize that if the only habitat was destroyed there will be no place for them to migrate to. Now human's impact on the natural environment has progressed from the ancient partial influence into the global era, while human beings are faced with a series of unprecedented, significant and pressing global environmental problems. The desertification of land, the "greenhouse effect" and global warming, ozone shield damage, loss of forests, physical extinction, shortage of freshwater resources and a series of other environmental problems seriously block human social development or even endanger the survival of mankind. Human beings must re-examine the relationship between nature and themselves.Nature not only provides a living space for mankind, but also provides all non-renewable and renewable material resources for human survival. With the rapid development of science and technology in the present age, how to make sustainable development of human society is a major problem which draws people's common attentions, as well as a good chance to achieve harmonious relations between man and nature. This article is intended from the perspective of system theory to re-analyze relations between man and nature, to reveal the essence of human's adaption to nature with the system of dialectical view of nature, therefore to explore and build up a more harmonious interactive mechanism between man and nature, as well as to provide a more comprehensive theoretical basis for the sustainable development of human society.
