The Study On Compiling Standards Of Xiao Tong's

Xiao Tong(501—531) was a prince of the ruling house of the Liang. was compiled by Xiao Tong which was one of the most important literature works in the Chinese literature history.Xiao Tong didn't make achievements in politic,but this work which was compiled by him makes a positive contribution to conserve and research the Chinese literature.At present, surrounding the compiling standards of , the opinions are widely divided.there are three standards not only one, when Xiao Tong was compiling such great literature work.The preface of named discovered these standards.Frist of all, Xiao Tong collected the excellent literatures from Xi Zhou to Liang.Scond,"work is based on literature'.the compiled literary works were true works. Third, the compilied works must have poetic words and sentences.these standards must be possessed together.My paper aslo reviews the literary idea of Xiao Tong.I think there is different between literary idea and compiling standard.Xiao Tong's literary idea is to pursue confucian literary aim:literary form must conform with literary content.
