Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, PTSD for short, is a kind of psychiatric disorder which is generated after individuals experience or witness irresistible traumatic events, and individuals experience a strong fear, helpless, or disgust, mainly leading to repeatedly experiencing traumatic events. The three kind of characteristic symptoms are memory escapism, numb response, increased vigilance. The occurrence of PTSD has a severe influence on individual mentality and social function. In the modern society, social conflicts, natural disasters (earthquake, flood, fire, etc) as well as social stress events (traffic accident, violent crime, etc.) are increasing, the number of people with PTSD is rapidly expanding, and the occurrence of PTSD also shows a clear ascendant trend. In 2008, a great earthquake happened in Sichuan province of our country. The vast victims, relief corps and volunteers are PTSD at-risk populations, especially the troops, who not only do rescue and relief work at the front-line, but also frequently are engaged in all kinds of emergencies, such as conflicts and terrors, so soldiers become PTSD high-risk groups. Deepening the study of PTSD and early identification as well as influence factors, has a great practical significance on effectively lowering the number of PTSD populations and promoting psychosomatic health of people who are under stress. This research adopts questionnaire survey to study soldiers'post-traumatic stress disorder. First, the Xianchen Liu's post-traumatic stress disorder scale has been revised in the group of soldiers, then, using correlation, regression analysis and amos to study the relationships among post-traumatic stress disorder, personality and social support, arriving at the following conclusions:1) The study revised Xianchen Liu'PTSD scale, the revised scale reserved 24 subjects, including three dimensions: reappearance/shunning symptom, emotional shrink/ remorse and function injury, and the revised scale has good item discrimination as well as reliability and validity. Through calculatingαcoefficient for internal consistency test, the coefficient of internal consistency reliability of the total scale is 0.864; Using structural equation model to test the construct validity of the scale,χ~2 =1319.56,df=249,RMSEA=0.076,CFI and IFI=0.93,NFI=0.92,each index is in accordance with psychometric standards, this shows structure of the scale is good. 2) Mean norm and standard norm of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder are established on the basis of measuring 4,155 soldiers, standard norm is represented by adding and subtracting a SD; standard norm uses M+S and M+2S as the critical value, thus the critical value of T score of the scale total score and three factors is 60 and 70 scores, that is to say,≥60 and <70 scores is mildly abnormal,≥70 scores is mean and severe abnormal.3)The two-way ANOVA of educational degree and whether is only child indicates that there is an interaction between educational degree and whether is only child on reappearance/shunning symptom, emotional shrink/ remorse, function injury and the total score of PTSD. By further simple effect analysis and post-event analysis, we find that as to the only child, there are significant differences on the factors and total scores of PTSD, and soldiers with primary schooling are more likely to suffer from PTSD.4) The two-way ANOVA of educational degree and length of military service shows that there is an interaction between educational degree and length of military service whether is only child on reappearance/shunning symptom, emotional shrink/ remorse, and there is an interaction effects on total score of PTSD. By further simple effect analysis and post-event analysis, we find that as to the soldiers who have bachelor degree, there are significant differences on reappearance/shunning symptom, emotional shrink/ remorse and the total score of PTSD. The score of soldiers who have three service years is significantly higher than others on reappearance/shunning symptom, emotional shrink/ remorse and the total score of PTSD.5) There are different kinds of correlations among personality dimensions, social support, PTSD and the factors. regression analysis finds that tonicity has significant forecasting effects on PTSD and the factors.6) The test of intermediary effect indicates that social support serves intermediary function in the process of forecasting tonicity of PTSD and the factors.
