The intrenet spoof video is no doubt one of the most important cultural phenomenon of the new century.In 2006,the confrontation between an unnamed "grass root" Huge and Chen kaige who is the big shot of the film industry,is not just another entertainment gossip at the fun times.This confrontation,which is a major cultural events of our times,actually characterizes the rise and build-up--by means of the network--of the civil society which has been called"grassroots", as well as the values,aesthetic tastes, or even political concept clash and confrontation between the pbulic and the nationalistic elite at the sphere of culture and knowledge.And as a sign of this rise and build-up, as well as other intrenet spoof videos,is also the discourse practice approach by which the clash and confrontation can be expressed.This thesis tries to make a thorough inquiry of the cultural connotations of intrenet spoof video which is an important cultural phenomenon.The inquiry,which will be from a point of view that the civil society has been rising and it had Constituted a confrontation with nationalism and its elite, is founded on the specific research of a number of textes and with the help of Juergen Habermas's theory of the public sphere and zhu dake's study of generalized rogue science. While taking into account that the intrenet spoof video is mainly a"cultural revolt"in the field of cinema,this thesis will explore the values revelatory of the intrenet spoof video to chinese movie industry.There are three parts in this thesis in addition to introduction and conclusion.
