Habermas's Civil Society And The Contemporary Significance

In recent years, no doubt, "civil society" has been a hot question in the domestic academic world. In the developing process of the theory of the civil society, such as Aristotle,Hegel, Marx,Gramsci and other landmarking thinkers left us with lots of valuable theoretical resource. Basing on the reality of contemporary western society, Habermas inherited it with the foundation of the former and made outstanding explanation on the theory of civil society. With the social development, China started the civil society, in the article,try to analyse the contemporary significansce.The article made of four chapters:The first chapter followed up the origin of Habermas's theory of civil society.From Aristotle to Hegel, Marx,Max Weber,Gramsci, in recent years,Habermars's civil society developed his univous theory on the base of the historical civil and the recent civil society theory.The second chapter revealed Habermars's theory of civil society.Habermas cited the public sphere and the lifeworld to the civil society, through two stages of the theory of civil society, Habermas developed two models:"civil society(economic sphere+public sphere)——political nation(public power sphere)" and "civil society(lifeworld)——system (economic system+political system) ",based on the theory of civil society,formed"binaries and three levels"social models, constructed the ideal civil society. The three chapter summarized the beginning of civil society in China. From the historical society to the market economy, the article analyzed the beginning features of the contemporary society. The four chapter revealed the contemporary significance of Habermas's civil society.
